Each year, students in grades K-8 perform a variety of acts from dancing, singing, comedy routines, instrumental performances, etc. The dinner and show will be held at the Santa Ynez Presbyterian Church Family Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at the door. The cost is $5.00/person or $20.00 for a family of four or more which includes a main dish, salad, bread, beverage and dessert, and of course, an amazing show! There is also a lavish dessert auction at intermission! This evening is a great opportunity for our students to present their talents and have a lot of fun too.
The Santa Ynez Valley Christian Academy held a celebration and dedication in honor of Bill Ooms in the Spring of 2014. A ceremony was held by the entrance of the school and began with a prayer at the cross, special dedication, then was followed by a reception.
Bill was a former Chairman and served on the Christian Academy’s Board of Directors for over twenty years. During his tenure, he was instrumental in facilitating many of the blessings the Lord has bestowed on this ministry. Bill was a man of impeccable integrity, a wonderful servant of the Lord who contributed spiritually and materially to the success of the school over a long period of time.
After Bill left us in February 2013 to be with the Lord, a scholarship fund was established in his name. As a result of the overwhelming generosity of those who have donated to the fund, several students now have the ability to attend the Christian Academy.
