The Santa Ynez Valley Christian Academy has several part time positions available.

Part Time:
A.   Roles include: student lunch supervisor, multi-grade level teacher's aide, and after school care supervisor. We are willing to consider applicants who are only available for one or two of the above roles at fewer hours.

Position Requirements:
·     Bachelor's degree
·     Experience in working with children
·     Must clear background check and fingerprinting
·     Hours:   Monday - Friday 11:30 am -- 5:30 pm with a 30 minute lunch break
·     Rate:     $11.00 per hour

B.   Part Time P.E. Teacher

Position Requirements:
·     Bachelor's degree
·     Experience in working with children
·     Must clear background check and fingerprinting
·     Hourly wage is dependent upon experience

C.   Substitute Teachers

Substitute Teacher requirements:
·     Bachelor's degree
·     Experience in working with children
·     Must clear background check and fingerprinting

D.   Business Manager/Bookkeper

Part time. Hourly wage is dependent upon experience.
Must clear background check and fingerprinting.

Qualifications:
1. Knowledge and practical experience beyond basic bookkeeping
2. Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks Online
3. Excel experience
4. Experience with Greater Giving software a plus but not required

Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable including collections
Accounts Payable
Payroll basics
Budget/Financial Projection - monthly reporting to Board Treasurer
Fundraising/Event accounting as well as assisting with events in whatever capacity needed
Endowment accounting
Scholarship accounting
Scholarship Committee liaison
Insurance Coordinator (Health, Workers' Compensation, D&O, Liability, etc.)
Annual D&O Application
Annual Workers' Compensation Audits
Workers' Compensation Claims
Health Insurance - Employee liaison/facilitator
Financial Statements
Preparation of tax documents for accountant
Relieving front desk as needed
Student trips receivable, payment and collection
Bank reconciliations
Donation thank you letters
