The Santa Ynez Valley Christian Academy has full-time and part-time positions available for the 2023-2024 school year. We are also looking for a Reading Resource Teacher and to increase our Substitute list. A. Full-time 5th Grade Teacher
The Santa Ynez Valley Christian Academy is seeking qualified, Christian, full-time 5th Grade. Job responsibilities include planning and implementing curriculum, monitoring and recording student progress in a self-contained classroom, and instilling Christian faith, character, and values that will contribute to student development. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree. A valid teaching credential is preferred but not required. Applicants must also be in agreement with and sign SYVCA's Statement of Faith, clear a background check and fingerprinting. Salary is commensurate upon teaching experience and education.
B. Substitute Teachers
· Bachelor's degree
· Experience in working with children
· Must clear background check and fingerprinting
