All Middle School students are required to do 20 hours of community service. Community service hours are times when the student is working for someone other than family, does not get paid, and is not earning credit for another organization (Boy/Girl Scouts, National Charity League, etc.). Community Service can be earned by volunteering at school, at church, or at other non-profit organizations.

Operation Christmas Child (pictured above): Every Christmas season the children pack and wrap over 100 gift boxes for hurting children worldwide 2-14 years old. This program is organized through Samaritans Purse.

Atterdag Village, Friendship House, and Solvang Senior Center: The school hosts a Thanksgiving Celebration every year and seniors from these centers come to enjoy the festivities and mingle with the students, families and staff.  Centers are also visited during Christmas and other special occasions by our Student Council.
